Remaining games of interest for the 10th Region

Featured Replies

Some pivotal games coming up in the 10th regions as the push to the post-season moves closer.

Montgomery County @ GRC 1/31

GRC @ Bracken County 2/8

Scott @ Mason 2/13

Bishop Brossart @ Montgomery County 2/19

1. GRC

2. Brossart

3. Mason

4. Bracken

5. Montgomery

Coach Graham has done a really nice job since taking over at the helm of the Lady Cardinals.

^ Definitely the favorite but not unbeatable. Should be an entertaining finish to the regular season as well as post-season.

As many folks know, I'm not much on girls basketball but when you have 4 or 5 teams that have a reasonable shot to claim the region title, things should be competitive at the least.:thumb:

February will be a very telling month. Those that are hot, should stay hot. But once post-season starts (especially in the Regional), a bad half of basketball will be all she wrote.

Agree. Really enjoyed watching the Lady Cards last night. Boy can they score. We may need to put some of these ladies on the boys team....:lol2:

I would say at this point, GRC and Brossart would be a toss-up.

I have not seen BB play, and have heard great things about them, but from watching the lady Cards I will say they will be hard to beat. They can score and in bunches.Matchups will be a factor in who wins the region IMO.

I would be very scared of Mason Co if I were a 10th region coach right now. They've got the leadership and they've also got the raw talent to cause teams some real headaches.

My Top 5 right now would be:

1. GRC

2a. Mason Co

2b. Brossart

4. Bracken Co

5. Montgomery Co.

Another big win against Highlands tonight for the Lady Royals.

Don't underestimate Bracken Co. Coach Kelsch will be ready to take on Mason Co. in 39th district tournament. Only lost to the Lady Royals by 4 in early December.

Agree 100 percent.:thumb:

Coach Kelsch having his team ready to go come tournament time is a given!

If Bracken Co. beat Mason Co. in the district tournament I wouldn't be surprised at all.

What a week in the 10th!

Bracken and Mason beat Montgomery, Augusta beats Bracken, then Montgomery avenges an earlier loss, by beating GRC.

Shaping up to be quite an interesting post season!
