January 20, 201412 yr Looks like we have another round of snow in store for us. As of now looks like southern Indiana is looking at 1-3 inches during the Tuesday-Wednesday period. Those along the Ohio River 1-2. The biggest snow fall totals could fall south and east of Lexington. 1-2 inches from Lexington-Richmond area. Eastern Kentucky can be looking at 2-4 inches of snow. The difference this time is an area of low pressure is predicted to form along this cold front which means maybe bigger snowfall totals this time around. I'll be checking it later today and post an update. If the model forecasts are correct I look for winter weather advisories to be issued later today.
January 20, 201412 yr Thanks nWo, will be looking for your updates. I tell my sister, who lives in Morgan Co, about the forecasts and what nWo has stated and her reply: What news station is he on?....:lol2:

We haven't had even a dusting here in Mason/Bracken since last Friday morning. Temps tomorrow will be in the 20's with the wind chill factor being in the single digits. If you remember when the polar vortex came through on that Sunday temps were in the 40-50 degree range. Monday it was around zero if not below. Temps will be even colder by Wednesday.
January 20, 201412 yr nWo, I like looking at the hourly projections on the NWS site for a given city, do you find those to be accurate or not worth looking at? Hourly Weather Forecast for 37.1N 84.61W (Elev. 997 ft)
