Not sure who but they have selected the new coach. Not sure when it will be public.

 

I will not put the new coach's name out in public yet as they still have to inform some people first but I can say Ludlow is getting a terrific coach.

Kevin has done a fantastic job at NCC and without a doubt in my mind will build Ludlow into a serious contender. Proud to call him a friend and he is nothing but deserving of this opportunity!

I haven't been on Twitter in the past few hours so I did not see it. I knew they were making an announcement today but was unaware of when. Then I figured in that Kevin would need to inform NCC before it went public. Nonetheless, I'm excited for him.

Gotcha. I was going off Richard Skinners tweet per Ludlow AD and I agree, he will do great things for that program. Not sure who all interviewed but they got a great and dedicated one in Kevin. :thumb:

Great hire for Ludlow! Kevin is a great person and will teach the kids not only baseball, but life lessons and that's what it's really about.

 

Although I was a much better baseball player than Kevin in our younger days, it's still a good hire for Ludlow! :banana:

Well, I already know a couple of people who they DIDN'T hire and got notified today. Unless they have the next Sparky Anderson in the wings, they've missed out on at least one outstanding candidate.

BZ, I think you'll like what you're getting. Kevin will not only lead by example, but expect perfection in every drill, every swing, every ground ball, etc. Kudos to Joe Beard and the boys on a great hire. I'm certain all applicants were very qualified.

I am sad to see Kevin Gray leave the NCC Program for selfish reasons...I was hopeful my son would have the opportunity to play baseball for him this year. Kevin will be very good for the Ludlow Boys regarding all aspects of the game of baseball and life lessons in general. Definitely a great hire...the Panthers better be prepared to work hard at all times! Wishing Kevin nothing but the best and most success!

I agree. JB and the boys should be commended for making what appears to be a really good hire. Certainly a huge upgrade from what was in place the past few years. Congratulations to everyone involved. Go Panthers!

Apparantly the whole baseball staff was in attendance last night at the Ludlow/Lloyd basketball game. Coaches were introducing themselves to everyone and some current players. There seems to be a buzz going around Ludlow and the excitement for baseball season to begin. Word has it they are starting today.

Well first off they can't start today. First day as allowed by the state is February 15th (this Saturday) and I know Kevin is well aware of that.

 

Also, who were the other coaches?
