Semi-finals of the 14th Region All-A Classic from Perry County Central. Game will be played Thursday night at 8 p.m.

Cordia is awaiting eligibility rulings on Ortiz and Chapman. Hazard is still awaiting an eligibility ruling on a trio of foreign exchange students.

Should be a good game, and the winner will be the heavy favorite to move on to the All-A State tournament, where they will be one of the teams to beat.

I'll go with Hazard in a tight one... for now.

Hazard is playing really well, but for some reason I'm thinking Cordia by 2.

This will be a battle. If Cordia has the two players eligible it could make them the favorite to win . They beat Hazard earlier without Chapman and Ortiz.

Cordia has had a few slip ups but any team that can beat Warren Central by double digits and lose by 1 in overtime to NCC has to be taken seriously. However, sometimes I wonder about Rhodes coaching ability. Two friends of mine went to the game last night at Buckhorn and they said Cordia was at their best when they were running and playing fast but that Rhodes kept making them slow the game down and play half court. They said the win margin would have been even more if he had just turned them loose and let them roll.

And by the way, why won't my I-phone let me see the polls so I can vote in these things? I can see them when I'm on my computer, but not on my cell.

Also not able to "like" from my cell phone.

I agree Cordia is best winning running up and down the court, getting easy buckets on fast breaks. They have the athletes to play the up tempo game, but Hazard makes you play their game which is half-court. I took Cordia in the pick em, but that was assuming the rumors of Oritz and Chapman would be playing. If those kids are playing, I'm going Cordia by 8, if not Hazard by 3 in a low scoring affair.

Unsure, but I'll try to find out. I think I'm able to "like" posts from my phone. What type of phone and Internet platform are you using?

If available, I know some people who post on here and use their phones frequently are fans of an app called Forum Runner.

I have an I-Phone. I don't really know what kind of platform, it's whatever the girl at the Jackson AT&T office set up when I switched over from an Android phone.

Thanks about the info on Forum Runner. I'll check into that and see if it helps.

Gonna make the trip to Perry Central tonight with some friends to see this game. It should be a good one, unless Cordia has one of their Lawrence County moments like they did in the WYMT Mountain Classic loss or the Manual 20 point loss at LexCath. Hazard really looked good in the WYMT tournament and they are on a roll right now. They like to play a slow paced game and I would think Rhodes would like to speed things up if possible, but you never know about him.

One thing is almost a certainty, the winner of this simifinal matchup will win the 14th region All A. I can't see Leslie County or Lee County giving either one of these teams much of a game in the championship.
