As I mention, I had no CPU until Wednesday late afternoon and as I mention why I didn't attend the Frosh Game "The Boss" had a important staff meeting to attend (the company she works for sold the business and it was a long and required meeting that she had to attend to meet the new company people), so i was out of luck! As I also posted I did post the Winton Woods game loss but sometimes things just don't work out.

No you will not because I do not have all of the names for the opposing team. No points for Sweeney or Shumate? Where is Laine Harrett? Who is Lyons and what grade is he? Heard he is a real talker on Twitter.

 

Covington now playing at Holmes? How is that? Where was the Moore kid for Holmes?

 

Covington has been at Holmes since last year. Old news.

 

Moore and Mullins (2 of Holmes best JV players) were both on crutches with minor injuries. Holmes played with I think 7 jv guys. Frosh Green and 8th grader commodore were the two bench players.

Really nice to see this breakout game for Angel. Wouldn't be surprised to see him moved up to the JV squad soon.

 

Why? Do they need him? Has he strung together dominating performances that says he should move up? Big rosters for Frosh and JV, do you really see a lot of upward movement or is this just wishful thinking?

Covington is a Jr correct? I dont think I have seen his name even sniff the Varsity box scores for Holmes this year. What a roller coaster ride of a HS experience for this kid.

I have watched him play several times and he does a lot more than what appears in the stat line.

 

His athleticism and ability to guard and rebound are skills that will benefit Cov Cath over the next couple of years.

 

I was told he was going start the year on the JV roster before injury.

 

Again physically he is strong enough to play at the JV level. Wouldn't he develop faster playing against older, stronger competition?
