The one that did nots team not only won more games in a tougher conference and division but would have had a bye if not for a terrible call at New Orleans by the refs. Also the one that didn't win the division won on the road today and played in the Super Bowl last year. Advantage non division winner in a landslide.

If we are going to use last year's results then winning the division that is home to the defending Super Bowl champs should count for something.

I don't follow SF much but wasn't there some real dissatisfaction with CK this year?

I follow the 49ers every game and all year round. He didn't have a great season but he also didn't have any wide receivers to throw to. The 49ers are just now starting to click a little with Crabtree back in the mix.

And the other has how many post season wins and a Super Bowl appearance in only a little over 1 full season being a NFL starter. Sorry PP92. I've been following this team since they came into the league, been season ticket holder for 33 of those 45 years, this team does not have the QB to win when it needs to. What does a division championship get you? Nothing if they can't win a single game in the playoffs.

I would much rather be in the position of a Chargers fan or 49ers fan right now than a Bengals fan.

You'd rather have Phillip Rivers than Dalton?

I'd take Phillip Rivers 10 times over Andy Dalton.

I'd take Colin over Dalton(I like QBs that can run) but I can't help but think that unless Dalton wins a Super Bowl he'll never be good enough. To me that isn't realistic.

I'd take Phillip Rivers 10 times over Andy Dalton.

They are the same player.

They are the same player.

Except Phillip Rivers can win in the post season apparently. As well as has a arm 1000 times better than Andy's but let's not that be a determining factor.

Rivers win today brings him to 4-4 in the playoffs. He's made the playoffs in 5 of his 10 years of playing. 0-1, 2-1, 1-1, 0-1 was his playoff record before today.

4 more wins than Andy. Also won twice as many as Andy in only his 2nd post season. How can you honestly say they are the same?

Rivers is .500 in the post season, that is better than Peyton Manning. I'd give anything to have a QB right now for the Bengals with a .500 record in the playoffs.

Check the stats. Plus, if Andy wins the Super Bowl next year he goes to 4-3 in the playoffs in his 4 years as a pro. He'd be way better than Rivers then. And Kap.

If he does that I buy you the meal of your dreams and I will personally drive down to pick you and the wife up and be your chauffeur for the evening.

We can say what if all we want buddy, but the facts are the facts, dalton has 0 wins in 3 tries, to say he will win it all next year is quite the leap don't you think? He had one of the best teams in the AFC at his hands this year and couldn't even beat the lowest seeded team in the playoffs.

Dalton stunk it up but he sure had plenty of help from the Oline. That was one of their worst games ever and it's painfully apparent that Dalton cannot operate under pressure.
