Final from Lexington.

Hatton puts up 34 including 17/18 from the line.

Simmons from Henderson had 23.

....

17/18 from the stripe? Wow!!

Clyde, you here?

Clyde, you here?

No, sir. Saw it on Twitter.

Any other details that those in attendance can provide? Sounds like a good win for the Red Colonels.

Watching 1st qtr:

Hatton should drive every time.He draws contact and will get to the line.

Rabe is a really nice steady PG.

HC's sets are dreadful. Intramural-ish.

Free advice: Don't try to get physical with Hatton. Let him be bored. If you try to get one over on him he hits the pull-up 3 on you.

Dixie's first-half D is dreadful. No help. Blowbys. Easy buckets.

Hatton jogs a lot.

Dixie was up 34-20 at halftime... really looked like it was going to be a blowout. Dixie's bigs had foul trouble.

I still do not understand why Bolin does not play more. He alters shots at the rim and rebounds very well. More PT would help his confidence.

Dixie has a lot of kids you can put on the floor. They simply don't have a lot of basketball talent ie kids that can produce points. And it's not because of Hatton. He doesn't force anything. In order for them to contend they HAVE to get something out of one or two of their "bigs." I just don't see them being able to score much. Dixie is probably better off with their "small" lineup.

Really good PG in Rabe. Good player in Schreck. That's it IMO. You don't game plan around the others. Drew Moore is a really strong defender who doesn't do anything offensively. Usually doesn't even look to score in the half-court if he's being guarded closely.

Slow team defensively. No threat at the rim defensively.

If you get Rabe in foul trouble then you have to have BH move out front to handle the ball most of the time. He's more effective in the post or coming off a down screen or a pick and pop. As I was telling someone tonight Rabe is a TRUE PG. He has to be on the floor for DH.

I copied this recap by REH5... from his Day 1 summery thread:
