Covington Catholic 64 Campbell County 59

Never been a fan of 10th region officiating and never will be. The worst officiated games I've seen have been by one 16th region crew and 3 games out at Campbell Co with 10th region officials...as a neutral observer I might add. Even though it's small, hearing this doesn't surprise me one bit.

Coach Code was in attendance and said this was a top-shelf crew with two of the state's top 20 officials. For what it is worth.

I think you're mixing up two separate calls from the game. Camels were in-bounding after a foul (or a timeout) and the young man moved a lot more than 3'. Don't recall the refs mechanics for the call, but the whole building knew the call.

Wichmann tried to pull a made basket out of the net and quickly hop out and inbound it to Ruthsatz and was called for having a foot inbounds. I couldn't see clearly enough to tell you it was right, but ref was right there so I'm sure it was.

Not conflating. My issue (nerdy as it is) is signaling a travel on that violation. Proper mechanics show that you know the rulebook intimately.

The latter issue was referenced simply because a)it occurred tonight and b)many people (including too many refs) don't remember the rule.

Obviously I wasn't there and from the broadcast I didn't hear too many questions about calls.

You referenced a CCH throw-in, that is why I thought you were mixing them up. My bad.

Si Señor. Across from the CovCath bench.

I too was sitting across from the Cov Cath bench. RP I'm mad you didn't let me know you were coming. I had the popcorn, not bad.

Pretty good officiating crew tonight IMO.
