Mike was one of my best friends and I know that he would really enjoy this tournament and the four days of Basketball. RIP man and we miss you at the Fieldhouse.

Tourney tips off tonight. Best of luck to all the teams, but especially to the 10th Region bunch. :thumb:

Side note about Augusta, who plays Lewis County tonight: They are averaging 82.2 points per game. Bach (31.4), Maddox (16.1), & Snapp (15.9) are averaging a combined 63.4.

Someone explain the brackets because am wondering how everyone is saying this sets up for a Augusta-Mason County matchup on Friday night. Shouldn't it be the Augusta-Lewis winner vs. Cooper-Harrison winner on Friday night?

The schedule is set up in an odd fashion, because the games don't reflect the brackets.

Brackets would look like this:

Augusta/Lewis

Mason/St. Pat

Harrison/Cooper

Fleming/Russell

I think I heard that St.Pat had scheduling conflict so they switched them to play on thurs. Like I said not for certain on this.

Congrats to Augusta. I enjoy this tourney. I think it is great for all of the kids to play in this environment. Getting to be a part of the history that has taken place at the Field House.
