Side note about Augusta, who plays Lewis County tonight: They are averaging 82.2 points per game. Bach (31.4), Maddox (16.1), & Snapp (15.9) are averaging a combined 63.4.

Someone explain the brackets because am wondering how everyone is saying this sets up for a Augusta-Mason County matchup on Friday night. Shouldn't it be the Augusta-Lewis winner vs. Cooper-Harrison winner on Friday night?

The schedule is set up in an odd fashion, because the games don't reflect the brackets.

 

Brackets would look like this:

 

Augusta/Lewis

Mason/St. Pat

 

Harrison/Cooper

Fleming/Russell

I'd say officiating(adjusting to out of region refs) might have a lot to do with these first round matchups.

I think I heard that St.Pat had scheduling conflict so they switched them to play on thurs. Like I said not for certain on this.

I saw on twitter that Lewis was up 3 at the half.

Last report on twitter said Augusta up 11 at the end of 3rd.

Augusta rolled in second half.

Augusta goes to 8-0 with a73-54 win over 3-4 Lewis County. Bach 37.

Will face Winner of Mason St Pats Friday.

Congrats to Augusta. I enjoy this tourney. I think it is great for all of the kids to play in this environment. Getting to be a part of the history that has taken place at the Field House.
