Kids are uncoachable these days because they spend to much time listening to their parents/friends, instead of listening to their coaches.

I can't agree with you more. Then all the parents want to do is complain about the coach and try to get him replaced. It amazes me how parents and/or fans know who should be playing and how much playing time they should get without sitting through practice every day. People live their lives through their kids too much! It's sad.

He is off the team from what I hear. Walked off the court against Holmes. Not a very smart idea with 4 games left in your senior season.

From what I have heard, the tension between this kid, his parents and Rob Detzel has been longstanding. I think this was the straw that broke the camel's back... whatever happenend on the court that night I don't know. However, if a kid walks off the court during a game without the coaches permission......I tell that kid to turn his uniform in and never come back. Period...Hit the bricks pal and beat it !!!!!!

That is an absolute fact. The reason is, parents let their kids back talk them :madman: and it carries over to school and extra curriculars. Very sad! I would never have dreamed about walking off the court, no matter what. Of course it matters if you play or not, but what that scoreboard says at the end is all that really matters.

Two will be Seniors next year. Brossart is returning four starters and nine current juniors in total next year.

They will have plenty of time next year to think about basketball. Football may not be reality.

Some people may think I'm crazy but there needs to be an attitude adjustment for one particular player. He brings the whole team down. His actions against NCC were embarassing. Yelling at his own players, mouthing the whole game. I am really surprised he gets away with what he does. He isn't good enough to run his mouth like that.

Why this post and what are you trying to accomplish here? I attended the game and the only talking I saw was by a NCC player. Maybe Mustang can let us know if he saw something else.
