Why this post and what are you trying to accomplish here? I attended the game and the only talking I saw was by a NCC player. Maybe Mustang can let us know if he saw something else.

 

I was kinda wondering the same thing 3311?? There's always talk among players during a game regarding assignments, plays, etc.; but I didn't see any unusual yelling, etc.?? Only trash talking or "chippiness" I saw came from an always "emotional" NCC player!! Guessing he's just trying to pile on a little, and stir the pot!!

Some people may think I'm crazy but there needs to be an attitude adjustment for one particular player. He brings the whole team down. His actions against NCC were embarassing. Yelling at his own players, mouthing the whole game. I am really surprised he gets away with what he does. He isn't good enough to run his mouth like that.

 

 

I really hope a player would yell at his teammates when things go wrong....Not negatively, but in a motivating manner...That's called leadership and every good team needs it.

Be honest and please base your response on past experience.

:thumb: Maybe Tubby could use this kid. The Cats need some leadership. I would hate for Farmboy to watch many Pendleton Co. games. He would be wanting a couple of our players to get an attitude adjustment.

Ha--Wonder how many he'd keep if he coached Holmes?? If he'd get rid of them for yelling at teammates, he'd be starting their freshmen!!

From my vantage point up in the "broadcast loft" just to the top left of the concession stand backboard, I saw nothing out of line from any of our players.

 

An official did have an early word with one of our players and one of NCCs but I think it was a routine "clean it up - we're not going to tolerate trash talk."

 

Our players know and respect the player in question and to the best of MY knowledge would go to war with and for him. He is a competitior who wants nothing more than to win.

 

He plays with pizazz and actually likes being abused by the oppositon fans and players. I've always liked a player with a little flair and he qualifies.

 

I think I would know if we have a chemistry problem and I don't think we have a chemistry problem. A sick problem, yes - and an injury problem, yes - but not a chemistry problem, at least until second period on Monday.

Don't count the Camels or Eagles out just yet. Brossart will crush Silver Grove or Calvary... whoever they play.. thats not saying much but the winner of the Campbell Co. vs. Scott game may be able to give Brossart a run for their money. Any of these three teams could take the district but IMO in your district championship will be Scott vs. Brossart and if scott plays like they did in the first meeting b/t these two teams, Brossart is your champ! However, scott has snapped their losing streak (which was against some really rough teams, if your interested in who let me know and ill inform you) and has just defeated long time rival SK and NCC and are hungry for more.
