They list 6 AL teams as teams interested in him and no NL teams other than the Reds. Question for everyone - can Jay Bruce play CF every day? Maybe Hamilton turns out to be the man in CF, but I am not sure about that. If not Hamilton, do they look at Bruce in CF? If Choo did it, I think Bruce could do it.

However, I have heard and read more than a couple people say he is still a year away. If Hamilton is in CF, then Ludwick becomes an awful expensive bench player.

I suspect some of this is a bit of a ploy to extract a better offer from an A.L. team. Matheny did a nice job of knowing when to give Carlos days off, but I'm not so sure he could expect same from another N.L. manager. Some talk of K.C. being where he ends up.
