Xbox shipping problems

Featured Replies

I would never have a game console shipped to me anyway... If you've seen how packages are handled in a UPS/FedEx facility, you would never ship something like that...

Go to the store, buy it there.

I agree. I worked at Fedex for a few years back in the day :scared:

Hearing that the PS4 basically just has forums to trouble shoot from and that Sony will not even take the time to at least fix the mistakes like Microsoft.

I'm not buying that. I've dealt with Microsoft and Sony when it came to problems with systems and both were excellent. Sony fixed my PS3 for free even with it being 2 years out of warranty.

Well just from looking at the thread your lucky it didn't turn into a more dire situation than this SF41. Talked to three or four people who's brand new XBOX 1 was faulty by the time they even got it out of the package. Couple of them would not even power on' date=' a couple more were having issues with the disk drive. All will have to re send theirs to microsoft to be fixed. So pretty much if you're getting a new PS4 or XBOX 1 be ready for a little bit of disapointment and hassle. If you're one of the few who gets one in working condition, go buy a lottery ticket. Glad I decided to wait until next year to try to get a new system. Hopefully the bugs will be worked out by then.[/quote']

Not sure about the Xbox problems but the PS4 ones sound like crap. Mine works fine and I've read that Sony is fixing or replacing the damaged ones pretty quickly.

I'm not waiting in line with a bunch of teens. Mine was shipped just fine UPS.

I'm not saying that's going to be how it's handled in the past or future but with the new consoles I've heard they're not ready to receive them back for repairs.

I've just got second hand info though from people who have received either the PS4 of XB1, they may have mislead me with some of the info. I'm just going by what a handful of gaming enthusiasts have told me about getting their pre orders.

I've never been one to wait in the lines either, it's not that serious to me... At the same time, I've gotten the past two Xbox's the same day they came out, didn't wait in a single line. A few hours doesn't make a difference to me.

I like not having to leave the house. I've never had the problems with UPS that others have.
