Two years ago Quickslick somewhat correctly called me a Drew Barker Homer. So in that spirit I pay one last tribute to #7.

For the record, I've known him since he was born. I graduated with his dad. His dad was in my wedding. So, yes, I'm somewhat biased.

With that I present unbiased stats for his varsity career:

466/767 (61%) 6,093 yards 62 TD 19 INT

623 carries 3,935 yards 51 TDs

113 career TDs

10,028 total yards

Job well done, DB.

Great career!! Congrats Drew

No offense Clyde, but young Barker didn't seem to need your help. Quite impressive with what he accomplished on his own with his teammates and coaches. Kudos.... Drew Barker!!!!!! :thumb:

It's what homers do.

When Drew was a sophomore and starting to get some attention Pat Towles, then a senior, befriended him and offered to help him in the process and with throwing. Now they will be competing for the #1 position.

No doubt. Told a HHS guy tonight that I could not be a bigger fan of the young man.

Those are some impressive numbers.

Obviously the total yards and TDs are records at Conner.

I'm wondering about the rushing yards. I'll have to check.

Congrats to Drew Barker for an outstanding career. I look forward to seeing him lead the Wildcats one day. Good luck to you Drew!!!!

I did need to confirm that he beat my career TDs total.

Confirmed.

Beat me by 111.

Must of been that one game when you all played and had that running clock and you only played the first half. Otherwise I'm sure the TD's would been closer

All time leading passer and rusher. That is getting it done.
