Thoughts and predictions?

I predict the Purples play one of the best games they play all year. They will come to Mayfield as if it were a business trip. I say they put up 50 rather convincingly.

Graves will be outmatched, as every other 5A team is to the Purples, but, they aren't a pushover either. They'll be competitive for a half, but, just won't have the horses to play with them for 4 qtrs. I do think if they limit the turnovers(fumbles/ints) that they'll have some success offensively and put up some points. The problem will be there pass D and BG will exploit that weakness. I think it'll be a 14-7 type game after 1 qtr, extended to 28-14 by the half, 38-14 after 3 qtrs. and then 52-28 to end. Graves will score a late TD vs the BG JV to make it look more respectable. Won't be a complete blowout, but, a game that'll the Purples will slowly but surely separate themselves as the game moves on.

I think your spot on Cardinal! I expect it to go this way too. Mayfield and Western Ky will be rockin next Friday with all the games going on in relatively close proximity, including: Mayfield, Graves Co, Caldwell Co, Murray, and Paducah Tilman to name the ones I can easily remember. I may be coming down for this game. Should be fun.

If Graves County's pass defense is suspect and a concern then this game will be like the rest. Over by the second quarter.
