I think that Knights do get the win here. The Knights held a strong running Russell County team to only 63 yards of rushing. Mercer will have to throw the ball some to be effective. The Knights have stumbled out of the gate offensively the last two weeks but finished with very strong second halfs and have so many excellent offensive players. They are not going to make the mistake of using the regular season game as the measure. The measure is a Titan team that has defeated a good Dunbar team to close the season and was able to take down the Rebels on their home field. The Knights took Russell County very seriously and will do so again in preparing for a much improved Mercer team. The Knights should also be emotionally pumped up getting to play this at home since most thought it would a second week on the road.

Knights win 28 to 14.

LC 34 - MC 14 By this time in the season/playoffs, if you're still playing you've got some talent and smart coaching..Catholic's fortunate to have both..many of these games from here on out cook down to one overriding principle: on each and every game night, you don't have to be the best team in the class, just the best team on this field this night...should be quite a night...the winner's prize: Highlands or Cov Cath, and then beyond...that's why the title means so much...

34-14?

I see visions of the last game dancing in your head. I hope the team feels the same way.

Agree. I haven't heard this one, but I've heard others do it. They need to remember it ain't radio, and it ain't about them. We can see the game and the plays; just tell us who the players are. Less is almost always more.

It always strikes me as bush-league.

Anybody have a broadcast link?
