Finally someone that understands that the Caldwell passing game leads to the big running game. Not to take away from Jaylen's ability, but the holes have to be created somehow. This is not conventional wisdom (running opens up the passing game). Teams have to defend the pass against Caldwell. Too explosive not to, but when they do the running game takes over and Jaylen is one hell of a RB.

 

That is what I have been preaching all along, that Caldwell's passing game opens up the running game against the better opponents. When you have a great QB and very good receivers, that will open up holes in the other team's defense.

This game will be televised live on WPSD's retro station Friday night according to Jeff Bidwell's twitter account. He is the sports guy at WPSD in Paducah.

The weather could possibly even this game up somewhat. A weaker team benefits from a wet sloppy field. I still expect Caldwell to win but a wet field is better for Murray.
