Randy Parker Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 William & Mary loses at Hampton 77-69, but the former Montgomery County star came off the bench to play 30 minutes, scoring 15 points & pulling down 7 boards. Prewitt was 4-9 from the floor, 3-5 from beyond the arc, & 4-6 from the charity stripe. The beginning of what I hope to be a stellar collegiate career! :thumb:
gold sunrise Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Way to go Omar!!!. So proud of him. Keep it up young man!!!
PurplePride92 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 This is great to see. I hope he continues to shine!!
tribeheart Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 The Tribe's senior all-conference PG was suspended indefinitely 2 days before the opener, as well as, freshman PG Mike Schlotman (Indiana All-star) is out with a hamstring pull, so, disappointing loss for what is/was expected to be a very good year for this team. Omar, consequently, will get a lot of court time early. He has shown no adjustment time needed for the speed/athleticism of the college game. Tribe fans are expecting a great 4 year career from Omar, and Omar appears ready to make more noise than even anticipated. Baptism early at Wichita State next week. Big things expected from Jack Whitman, also, but probably at least a year away from being ready physically to contribute.
Randy Parker Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 Omar's 30 minutes were second highest on the team, as were his 15 points.
gold sunrise Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 W&M got a steal. Yes they did along with Whitman.
