November 8, 201312 yr ^ Completely agree. Sometimes the schedule cooperates and sometimes it doesn't. The B1G is going to let down the Buckeyes this year. So it goes. It's been pretty apparent who the two best teams in the country are over the past couple weeks: Alabama and Florida State. Obviously there are still opportunities to lose (not the least of which is Bama's game against LSU this weekend). But I'll be surprised if any of this comes into play at all.

Like it or not it's just the way it was, so OSU gets credit for a ranked win.

Ohio State has 2, with the possibility of 1 more. 7>3, am I right?

November 8, 201312 yr This just in Stanford lost to 4-4 Utah on 10/12..... Just goes to show how poor the voters and computers think Ohio State's schedule is. A BCS conference team is undefeated, and in real danger of falling behind a 1 loss team that lost to an average at best team. Has a 1 loss BCS conference team ever finished ahead of an undefeated team from another BCS conference?

Ohio State couldn't beat an SEC team in a title game if their lives depended on it. Where did I say my opinion goes further than the polls? Now you're just flat out making stuff up. We'll see Sunday night if the voters agree with me or not. Then we'll see in another 4 weeks who ends up right after all the games are played.
