It's Sindelar's second SEC offer. He has several other offers (couple of MAC teams, WKU, Murray State).

2015 Caldwell QB Elijah Sindelar was offered by Coach Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Eli Pepper is a junior. He's drawing a lot of basketball interest. I think Stanford is even interested, Southern Miss, Rice, Tulsa. Lots of interest, but I haven't heard any offers yet.

 

He had quit football because of a leg injury and didn't play last year. I think his older brother joining the coaching staff this year was a big reason he came back out for football. And it probably didn't hurt that Caldwell was going to be really, really good.

 

I think his future is basketball. He's also a pretty good pitcher on the baseball team.

He should go to Auburn and be the next Bo

He picked up the Murray State offer week before last. He may also have an offer from Bowling Green.

 

I think Sindelar eventually gets offers from Louisville, Purdue and Tennessee, among others. Purdue is the sleeper in my opinion. He really liked his trip up there and Purdue is in need of a QB (and is a great engineering school).

 

Sindelar could get offers from Ohio State and Alabama, but from what I can tell he is their backup option at this point.

 

He may also want to play baseball, so that could figure into his final choice.

All kinds of "talent" walking around the Grove. I know a guy that graduated from Ole Miss, and he said..."we redshirt Miss America's down here." Classic.

Read an article on Sindelar. Said that he will be an engineering major so the selected school has to have a strong program. Said he will go where God directs him. Said he will consider pro baseball if drafted high enough but education is a priority. Has a good relationship with Neal Brown. Wants to get it over with by spring. Order of priorities for selection: What God says, education, football staff.

 

Purdue is showing interest. I'd consider them a legit possibility should they offer.

He said in the Paducah Sun that his top 3 schools were....UK, Ole Miss, Purdue.

Sindelar. I've seen both in person.

 

With that said, it's like splitting hairs, too. The reason I say Sindelar is simply bc he has a couple-few inches on Barker and faster.. He has that 'extra gear' you here people talk about.

 

This could change, too, but for the sake of discussion; Sindelar.

Sindelars arms are so long for a QB. He has time, but he needs to work on speed of release.
