cch5432
Quick question- this seems to be a big rivalry.....why? Geography is not the answer, what is it about this match up?
hopper24
Quick question- this seems to be a big rivalry.....why? Geography is not the answer, what is it about this match up? Scott's area(Tayor Mill) used be SK area, back in the day! Us older guys remember that. No disrespect but geography has a lot to do with it. These guys see a lot of each other all year round. Italian Stallion
Quick question- this seems to be a big rivalry.....why? Geography is not the answer, what is it about this match up? Besides geography actually being a part of it, in seemingly every sport these two schools always have close entertaining games.

nkyhoopfan
Quick question- this seems to be a big rivalry.....why? Geography is not the answer, what is it about this match up? Some one pointed out that "back in the day" (actually 27 years ago!) Scott was SK territory. When Scott was built they took a portion of SK area and Dixie area to make the new high school. So in a way that has some of the rivalry. Kenton County has alway been competitive between high schools so this is just par for the course. Off the court, some of these players even run together. Which adds a whole new dynamic. Good luck to the Eagles, would love to see them serve SK their lunch!

Italian Stallion
SK Senior Ryan Brown will not play tonight due to an injured ankle, but should be back in time for Senior Night against Dixie. Hurts to see him not get to play in this one, but shouldn't effect the outcome of the game too much.
NEERFAN
Back in my day former SK and Scott students shared Twenhofel MS, since the opening of Woodland and Summit View things have changed a bit but it still seems to be a good rivalry. Italian Stallion
It seems to me that the last 2 years, there's been a little more hatred between the schools and the rivalry has been more intense, as opposed to a few years before. Has anyone else noticed this?
