June 6, 201412 yr Author And guess what was in the mail today? Another jury summons for my college student, starting at the end of March. So she got an exemption from the March one, only to be told that she had to report on June 6th, tomorrow. So frustrating! She is a 19 yr old college student. I got notice for jury duty just one time in my life. This is her 3rd time in one year.

Next week she begins clinical training to become a nurse assistant, so she can have a part time job and earn money while she logs in the 1000 hours of hospital experience needed for her degree. I went to the courthouse yesterday with the documentation for her clinicals. I said "pick me pick me." They said it does not work that way. It's a random computer generation and her name just keeps coming to the top.
