Scott 2013/2014

Featured Replies

Hasn't committed yet but if I had to guess, either Georgetown, or Thomas More.

Josh is very open about the fact that he wants to continue playing football and baseball in college.

Scott does now have a transfer from Newport. I believe his name is Darian Witherspoon. He is eligible.

What grade and position does he play. How do you see him contributing for Scott?

Junior. SG or SF. I see him as one of the better scorers for Scott this year. He can really shoot the ball well from behind the 3 pt. line. I saw him vs. Holy Cross last year and he played some exceptional defense as well. I do think it will take time for him to learn Coach Carr's fast paced system.

Any guesses on the starting 5?

Hard to pick, especially early in the year when Carr is still teaching his system. I've seen him start kids that may not have been the best player, but they were rewarded with good effort at practice or as a teaching moment to the better player who was not doing what he needed to do.

With so many graduated from last year and so many seniors, Throw in a few underclassman that can contribute, it is a blind guess for me?

Anyone want to give it a shot?

Jeremy Jackson

Blake Schneider(if healthy)

Matt Johnson

Ben Osborne

Kameron Crim

If Schneider is not yet healthy, I see Darien Witherspoon starting.

As long as Brad is still there, he'll work magic in Taylor Mill.

He may need a David Blaine type effort this year.
