1A #4 Fairview will be traveling to Raceland to take on the #6 Rams in, what will most likely determine the District Championship and assure home games though out the playoffs. Both teams are going to be without stars: Raceland lost senior running back Zack Litteral last week, and Fairview will be without running back/defensive back Isaiah King. Both teams have allowed quite a few points per game, and both teams have established a potent running attack. With many of the parts being equal, the difference may be the passing attack: Fairview passing for under 300 yards this year, while Raceland is getting close to the thousand yard mark.

Who wins? What will prove to be the difference?

Raceland 28-21.

I will take Fairview, Raceland seems to falter in big games

Actually, Fairview will probably be a 2 td favorite and they should be. They are the district and region defending champs. Having stated the obvious (Fairview a clear favorite), my prediction should be Fairview.

So with that said.........

Raceland 36

Fairview 24

(actually, I heard that the Eagles could possibly compete in the playoffs in KY, WVA and OH. :sssh:, Kidding of course.....:D )

That is a fair/true statement.

I think that it would be great if somehow Zack Litteral could be there, I am not sure if he will be home from the U.K. hospital or be able to attend if he is home.

I feel certain that the Rams would like to have him there for this one.

With Raceland having him hurt is why I picked Fairview in the contest to win.

He'll be home sometime today.

Zack came home yesterday afternoon. He is doing well. A few of the players have been to see him. I am taking him lunch today. He is a great kid and a hard worker. Look out track season. I think he has some frustrations to take out on the track.

In my Mr. T voice: "I pity the fool that tries to stop Zack from being at the game". Zack will be the loudest cheerleader, I am sure.

I had lunch with him today. I took him some Chick-fil-A and hung out a little while. He WILL be at the game. More than likely in a wheel chair because being on crutches is too hard on his left shoulder injury. I plan on picking him up in my Ram-mobile and bringing him to the school for the pep-rally.

I can understand that. I just feel that the Raceland coaches will make adjustments and the players will "step it up" and find a way.

Great news. :thumb:

If he is home and breathing I have no doubt about it.

GREAT NEWS....Doc, you and the coaches had better have his helmet and pads locked away, if not Raceland may be flagged for having a "wheelchair" in the huddle bc with that kids desire he will find a way.
