With T and X being down, this is definitely the year Simon has a legit shot to win 6A.

 

 

I think this is still a bit of a stretch. Handling a winless Boone Co team does nothing to show me SK is ready to challenge the top teams in 6A.

 

Looking back they have a 7 point win over Conner and a 2 point win of Collins. Central Hardin beat Collins last night. Anyone think Central Hardin has a legit shot at a state title this year?

Game scores and things that make me wonder if Simon Kenton has a legitimate chance:

 

SK 55 Campbell Co. 35 and CC beating Dixie 16-13.

SK 46 Ryle 7 and Scott County 56 Ryle 14.

Scott County's schedule is weaker than SK's.

Trinity 38 Manual 30.

Male beats St. X, who seems to be going backwards.

 

Is SK the favorite to win it? No. Do I think they have zero chance? No. I think they could do it. That is all. The stars seem to be aligning right with SK having probably their best team ever and the competition all seeming to be below their usual standards. I won't be shocked if it happens.
