Male 40 Ballard 0

Featured Replies

This result spells doom for the Ballard, Oldham County, Fern Creek and Eastern district when they:banana: face the Male, Manual, St. X and Trinity district in the playoffs.:ohbrother:

Totally unexpected result - at least in terms of the final margin.

Wish Coach J all the best.

There was a lot of back and forth banter between the two squads on twitter leading up to the game.

Oh?

Male is really playing some great football this year. With all the talk about who the real Big 3 is, most have all but discarded Male in that conversation. In the words of the infamous Lee Corso "Not so fast, my friend"...

While I'm not at all saying that Male isn't a good team their level of competition has been, shall we say, lacking. That said they very well may be capable of beating an upper echelon team but until they actually line up against one we won't know. Remember PRP last year ran the table playing this level of competition in the regular season but were badly outclassed in the finals.
