Newport 21 Pendleton County 6

I went down to see the battle of the Wildcats vs Wildcats tonight. My biggest question, why does the Pendleton County offensive line never go into a 3 or 4 point stance. They were standing on every snap, and on their heels every snap on offense, just getting blown up all night. Newport defense spent as much time in the backfield as the running back for Pendleton Co. did. Pendleton defense was getting tired in the second half. They played hard though. #25 was too much for the PC Wildcats.

Walter thanks for your comment's regarding Dom Joseph, I first met this kid at the age of 6 when they relocated to Erlanger due to Katrina in New Orleans. Dom and his family were

a special family that I adored and still do to this day. I miss both Dom and Demetri as I watched them both play for Erlanger Lions and the Tichenor program prior to transferring to Newport

I need to get to a game. I know for sure I will be at the Lloyd vs Newport game in October. I hope Dom and his brother Demetri both are doing well. JD

Dom Joseph finished with 232 yds on 25 carries in this one. Good to see him playing well after battling injuries early in the season.

Kid works so hard on and off the field. Honors student, runs, track, plays football, and basketball.

He was a load... we had him bottled up a few times and he'd find a way to break loose.

What makes him so tough is how hard he runs. He is fearless and will try to run you over if you are in his way. He will be very tough to stop next year as a senior.
