UK Coaches Go To Eastern Kentucky and Meet Malik Hines, Rod Rhodes | Kentucky Sports Radio

So what is it about Cordia or the area around Cordia that gets players to move there?

I'm wondering the same. They have basically become a revolving door prep school.

Maybe they have a small Catholic school in town and they get kids to come to the public school with a free pass.

A coach whose been through the recruiting process himself and played in the NBA doesn't hurt.

Without the price of a prep school.

I doubt Kentucky is giving serious consideration to Malik Hines. Just like I know they weren't seriously considering Emmanuel Owootoah, even though Coach O travelled there last season as well. I'll need to watch him again during the season to give a fair evaluation, though.

Ohio State, Purdue,LSU,Louisville all has came to Cordia in the last couple of weeks.

Couldn't find another MORE RECENT thread about Hines in a search.

If there is, I apologize.

Probably would have had a bigger offer if the Cordia thing had worked out in all honesty. UK Big? No. Bigger than what he got? Probably. "If if's were 5th's, we'd all be drunk", but it wouldn't have shocked me. He was in the mix for some BCS schools coming into the season.
