Look, Cooper will likely score on Scott, and more than once. But one of HC's TD's was in the second half in garbage time. The comparison doesn't mean anything.

Yes they did. And much of that came in the second half in garbage time with backups constantly rotating in and out. It means nothing.

I'm looking forward to this game tonight. I haven't seen Scott play but Cooper has an outstanding QB and passing game. The game I saw the defense did struggle with the run.

 

If Cooper can eliminate turnovers I take them in a close game. 28 -24

I think (and hope) Cooper will bring their "A" game tonight and prove while they are not last year's squad, there is still a solid group with talent and heart wearing the maroon and gold. If we put the ball in Bricking's hands and abandon the sophmore RB phenom fad, especially on short and goal, I think we'll be victorious. I think Scott is a very good team (read my previous posts, I predicted a 5-0 start) but this should be a tougher opponent and they will be tested.

Yea, the Soph RB seems to do a lot better running between the tackles. Watched him in the JV game and everytime he tries to run outside he gets nothing, he isn't fast enough to get around the edge, but he is super quick and can cut on a dime and when he ran between the tackles last Sat he got positive yards. I hope they realize that and if they do run him at all, run him inside, not outside.
