Stolen Phone/Insurance Claim

Featured Replies

And you tell them the truth, you were working on Insurance and doing your own investigation and got lucky and now you have enough evidence for them to close a felony case.

And it doesn't matter that I got the phone back?

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the help G. I just called and filed a report.

I will throw this in here and see if G man has thoughts/action plan. Sorry for being a little off topic on this but it is about potential illegal activity so I am posting it.

I was at a strip center a couple days ago and saw the "panhandlers" hitting some guy up for money. You know the story ... car broke down, I got beat up and robbed, whatever .... so the guy is handing the dude cash with the girl standing a few feet behind him acting like she is all distraught. The "panhandler" couple walks to a parked car being driven by a 3rd person. They happen to be pulling out the same time as me and I am curious so I follow them. They drive just a couple blocks and pull into another strip center. They pull into a parking lot in front of a store, park the car and the panhandler couple gets out and walk over to a really nice pickup truck. There is a guy in the truck, they stand on the passenger side and talk for a a bit. it looked like they handed him the money. I had to drive on because another car was behind me. It looked to me like they may be taking the money they panhandled and were buying drugs. When I turned around and drove back to where I last saw them, they were gone. I had the license number on the panhandlers car. What should I have done?

Realized this morning that the lady took the sim card out of my phone. So I lost like 500+ songs and no telling how many pictures. I guess that's better than losing the phone too, though.

GO BUY A LOTTERY TICKET NOW!!!!!!

Sucks you got your sim card stolen I didn't see that part. But still a lucky break on getting the phone back, 99% of the time that thing would have went bye bye. Even if she didn't cough it up because she couldn't use it, most people would have held onto it and tried to sell it to someone else for cheap. Hopefully you get your sim back too if the Police can track her down.

All the more reason to pursue her...

What do I do now that I've filed the report? They said I could pick up a copy next Wednesday, but what else do I need to do?
