Dave W said Wags is the 2nd best athlete on the team. I expect him to have a lot of rushing TDs/yardage this season.

..........It is a little thing, but if Dressman is going to kick he can't be missing PAT's, those can be big in close games.

Can someone on the Campbell Co end help explain why they have this gorgeous state of the art big screen scoreboard but all it does is flash ads?

We're they still working the bugs out to be able to show replays?

I do know someone was up in the booth teaching them about all the new equipment but to my knowledge I don't believe they are permitted to show instant replay on the video screen. I was told its against the rules. Not 100% sure so I'm guessing on that

Nothing is going live until next week, home opener and I still think they are learning the software. I was told they probably will never know all of the stuff this big screen can do.

 

Regarding the replays, I was told you could show replays as long as it does not embarrass another player/team.

Define embarrass? Isn't it true that on every play, someone gets the best of someone else? A defense player beats a block...an offense player beats his man......even on the coin flip, someone chooses wrong........

 

 

In thses days of participation trophies and everyone gets to play, aren't we at risk of someone complaining when their "little Johnnie" makes it to the big screen and is shown to not do his best?

WOW, never thought I would have to define what is embarrassing. How about a play where a kid breaks his leg or has a severe injury or how about a type of hit that Tyler Durham put on Travis Elliott 3 years ago? Those would be embarrassing.

How was LB play for the blue boys? Did Timmerman get the start at Mike. How did he do? How did they do in a whole and how did the sophomores look?

IMHO I though that Red Wags did outstanding, Timmerman did better than you would except from a 10th grader with zero varsity experience and not to my surprise at least, as he has shown he can play in practice, another 10th grader with zero varsity experience young Mr. Pitzer did an very, very good job.

 

Remember neither Burchell nor Nelms, both seniors and multi year starters, did not play!
