I don't see how anyone could bash Meyer. I think that he has done the right thing.

Then again, some don't need a reason to bash OSU Football or Meyer, it's just what they do.

There is no doubt that the problems at Fla. will follow Meyer, I still don't think much of Meyers personality, I didn't when he was at UF but that was probably due to I despise any and everything UF Gators, lol. Meyer is arrogant, I do however think that considering his rep at UF with problems and OSU's problems / sanctions before Meyers hire that he is going to run a much tighter ship when it comes to discipline. Will there be screw ups ?....no doubt, all schools have them now and imo that is in large part due to the kids coming out of high school these days (especially the very elite players) seem to consider themselves "untouchable" bc they were probably pampered in h.s. and told that the sun arose and set on their butt. When they get to college with that mentality they usually will test the coach to see what they can get by with and the coach usually sets on them to let them know that they are not getting by with that crap like they did in h.s. Then, should problems keep arising then further discipline is taken. That's my take on it anyway. Meyer does appear to be far more strict thaN he was at UF. I am an OSU football fan so naturally I want Meyer to succeed and want to believe that he will be more tight on discipline. I also believe that there are tons of people that are just waiting on the least thing / story to pounce on tOSU. Should that be what they want then go for it. I am sure that Meyer doesn't care what anyone thinks of him and I personally have heard enough Buck bashing in the past on here that I don't care, lol.

I did hear this morning that OSU/Meyer had suspended an incoming freshman due to his involvement in an incident and that he was caught and charged with using a fake i.d. at a Columbus bar. This along with the suspension / pending dismissal of Hyde and that of a starting cb lead me to believe that Meyer has and is getting a hold o things and taking appropriate actions. Hopefully all will be taken care of and the Buckeyes can get on with what should be a very good season.

After reviewing video evidence at the establishment, it is very unlikely Hyde is charged with anything.
