Good game for the cats tonite, great crowd from Pendleton, congrats to KYLE HOWARD 1000 points and counting for Scott.
First quarter Pendleton blew up, really took the wind out of Scott's sails early

Second Quarter - foul trouble with Maines and Belcher. PC had trouble without Maines handling the ball, Scott made some shot, cut the lead to four at the half

Third Quarter, It was a pretty even matter, both teams made shots, Maines got his fourth foul and had to sit, Scott played good

Fourth Quarter - Scott slowly wore down, they looked pretty tired and PC stretched out the lead for 15 point win

It started out looking like PC would blow the doors off but Scott settled in(with some early foul problems from PC) gained some confidence and made a really good run. Scott played with a lot of heart and emotion tonight, 25 for Scott hit some key shots and played some really hard nosed D tonight. But in the end PC's pace wore down Scott and those boys wee really drained. I had the good fortune of sitting behind The Wildcat bench tonight 3 rows. Coach Biggs is a true teacher of the game. During the timeouts he gave his instruction, locked the boys in the eye, repeated the key points and was giving them scenarios for three or four plays ahead. He and Coach Carr were really animated tonight. A really good game all around.

:thumb: Couldn't have said it better myself. Also Elliot was on the bench with 2 fouls in the 2nd quarter. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe PC was up about 14 points when Tyler went out. IMO, If Mains and Elliot were not on the bench in the 2nd quarter this would have been blowout city early. When Mains is on the bench PC seams to slow the pace of the game. When Mains was playing in the 1st quarter PC was pushing the ball hard up and down the court. Scott's player were sucking air. When Mains was out the slower tempo let Scott get back into the game. Slow tempo in the 3rd quarter let Scott stay close again Mains is out until late in the 4th quarter. When he came back it was lights out for Scott. Biggs pulled the starters at approximately 1:30 left if not this would have been 20+ win. Another good road win for the Cats. Now it is on to Harrison Co. tonight who was blown out by a good Scott Co. team last night.

Go PC Wildcats

Happy to see the Cats win another good one. Totally agree that this would have been a blowout from the beginning had PC not gotten in foul trouble in the first half, but that's part of the game. PC did a good job of at least maintaining their lead with their 2 leading scorers on the bench with about 4 minutes to go in the first half. Not to mention, Tyler Mains is the floor general and they are a totally different team without him. Glad to see a huge crowd to support the Cats. I think Scott's fans were outnumbered by at least 3 to 1. The Cats finish up there tough road trip tonight on the Hill against the Thorobreds. Hope they can keep their senior leaders on the floor. Otherwise, it might get interesting again. GO CATS!

I was at the game.

1. 10th the region officals don't call 3 seconds. Elliot and Howard camped out all game long.

2. McCord for Scott is a player and he need to yell at the quigly kid to give him the rock more.

3. Scott found Pendelton's weakness. They do not have a quality back up for Maines, soon as he hits the bench press Pendeltons brains out. Pendelton turned the ball over like crazy with Maines on the bench.

4. I was very impressed with the Pendeltons Starting 5. The frontcourt, and the shooting ability overall on the team is very good. They look like a state title contender as long as they do not get in foul trouble.

:thumb: They have to stay out of foul trouble. Scott did not find the weakness it has been there all along. There are not to many teams in the 10th that don't have the same problem. Probably only a handful of teams in the State that doesn't.

Not to many refs call the 3 seconds in any Region. You must have not watched Elliot much because he does not camp in the paint very often. He is always on the move out side the paint.

Pendleton's adult crowd was good, but the school students were very disrespectful and obnoxious especially since they were doing these things in the Scott cheering section. They were yelling obscenities to the adults, cheerleaders, and players from Scott.

Well to everyone from PC, that statement would have to be turned around. Scott High's adults were very disrespectful to the youth of Pendleton County. The cheering section is not marked, so who is to know where they are supposed to sit?

well played game by both teams. congrats to Howard on 1,000 pts! Keep it up!

GO CATS!!!! :dancingpa

Just about every teams fans say rude stuff during a game. Just be ready to put up with it.

if it was just saying things, it wouldn't be such a problem. but it wasn't.

Good game CATS! I was a little dissappointed with the PC student section, just didn't seem as animated last night. Of course I did see one Scott parent actually sit a PC student down, I know fans are expected to be into the game but honestly. I thought that the PC starters handled the ball well, this really is a team where every player contributes something to make it all work. Jeff Gibson contributed too last night. Congrats again to Howard for 1000 points!

First thing is 1st Congrats to Howard for 1000th pts!! but For some negative thoughts, i dont think PC in in the top as the best in the state. If they are i guess it was just because there big men got into foul trouble. I felt kind of disrespectful when Howard scored his 1000th pt and didnt get any reaction from the PC side. I also believe that Sharp had too many turnovers and only gets his pts when it dont matter. Whitehead got into some trouble again with the coach, and didnt play the 2nd half. And Coach Carr needs to tell quigley how to go right and stop driving the ball 24/7 when he gets the ball. Very good game for McCord!! Get out of the Slump Scott

That's how PC student fans are, not too creative, just derogatory and loud. Maybe they'll get more creative stuff than yelling a player "sucks" or other terms not appropriate on here...

 What game were you watching? Sharp is the ONLY one that can or wants to bring the ball up the floor. Maybe some of his turnovers are because some of his teammates can't catch the ball. As for him getting his points when it don't matter, that comment is just ridiculous.

Hmm, don't agree with you on the no reaction thing. Everyone around me was applauding an impressive accomplishment and it was all PC fans.
