There is nothing my team lacks in my opinion. I can't see how anyone would matchup with my guys. Yes I'm being a homer, but come on. Russell solidifies the inside on both sides of the ball. Bird is a flat out stud, please show me who stops him. Havlicek and Cousy in the backcourt with Dirk being a matchup nightmare for any other PF, wow. You can't double Russell because of the shooting, how do you single cover BOTH Bird and Dirk? I just don't see it. I drafted with a team concept in mind.

 

Off the pine with Willis Reed, Patrick Ewing and Steve Nash. Nash is a perfect fit for this team. He would distribute with ease. He also is one of the most under-rated shooters in history.

 

I feared my team wouldn't get a fair look because I didn't go with the flashy names, I went with the best players that were out there when it was my pick and according to my idea of a great team. I wouldn't change one pick.

I think this team went off the rails, again, this is my opinion. You got a gift with MJ at 2, and the Moses and Barkley picks I liked a lot. This team has a lot of guys that need the ball. I also don't think I would have took Vince Carter, at any point in his career, in the first 100 picks. Carter, MJ and 'Nique don't fit well in my imagination of how this team would play together.

This team is awesome. I have no big holes to point out. Stockton is a great fit, much like my thoughts with Nash, because of his complete unselfishness and willingness to distribute. Wilt and Baylor, wow, what a combo. Pippen would fit like a glove on any all-time team with his skill set and I love his chance of defending anyone at his position. Great job.

If I pointed out a weakness on my team it would be speed, but I don't see them losing in a series with the offensive punch and the inside defense of Russell. But I am bias.

Yeah, I hated taking GP knowing you wanted him also but I did legitimately want and need a point guard.

 

I hadn't thought about how my team would have looked with MJ until just now and......you may be right. It probably would look better with MJ and would be viewed different but then....I wouldn't be able to forgive myself and I would hate the team. If my team suffers with Kobe then so be it. I'm good with that.

Magic needs the ball, yes he can be effective in any role, but he is literal magic with the rock. With him and Thomas I don't see it working. What is Thomas' role? Who will this duo matchup with? Is Magic going to guard a team's 2?

 

Shaq and Garnett are a good mix, Garnett likes the top of the key area while Shaq controls down low. But with Durant and his prolific scoring and need for the rock I don't see this working well at all.

 

Worthy I love, I thought about picking him at least twice, but passed.

Iverson never back down to anyone and at 6' nothing he was as unstoppable as anyone in the league. He averaged over 7 dimes a game through most of his career which does seem to go unnoticed, he also wasn't the point guard on many of those teams.

This is a freakin' good team. Joe D was a stud on defense, which in an "all-time" team format is very valuable as he stands a good chance against most 2 guards. McHale and Kareem would not be stopped down low and the Big O would be a joy to watch. This team seems to have tried to do what I did with mine and fit guys together. What a great job with this squad.

Agreed. Durant is a bigger gun than Kobe. Shaq not like that.
