July 6, 201313 yr Detroit Pistons give Josh Smith 4 years, $56M, sources say - ESPN This saves the Rockets, IMO. Hopefully, now the Rockets will focus their effort on Ryan Anderson, who will be both cheaper and a better fit IMO.
July 6, 201313 yr Why Detroit? Between Knight, Drummond and Monroe they have some talent. If I'm Detroit I sell high on Monroe.
July 6, 201313 yr Seems like a player that gets his but doesnt make a team better. That's the Josh I know.
July 6, 201313 yr As bad as it seems at least it's not as bad as the last time they had a lot of room in free agency, you know the time they inked Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva to huge deals. Dumars just has to spend, not sure it's a good fit but I don't see them landing anyone better.
January 7, 201511 yr Pistons 6-0 since waving this bum. 5- 23 with him this year. On the opposite side, it looks like the Rockets have gotten worse going 3-4 since acquiring him. The Josh Smith curse is for real.
