Selfish PP92 wants Kobe back day one but having him take his time, tank the season, trade Pau for picks and go for Lebron in 2014 sounds pretty damn awesome.

Yeah, no way Kobe goes for that.

Rockets are going to be decent...

I'm told Hawks and Rockets working on sign&trade to bring Josh Smith to Hou, probably for Asik and JLin

Rockets will be great but I like the Warriors better. The balance of power is shifting in the West. The Thunder better jump back in the lab.

^ Nope...

@AlexKennedyNBA: Dwight Howard is en route to L.A. now to meet with Lakers. I'm told the extra $ is still weighing on Howard.

Howard + Kobe + Pau

This is not based on individuals but more about how they'd fit as a team.

@jadande: Apparently, still no official word from Dwight Howard to Lakers.

What's the big hold up? "It's hard to walk away from $30 million," said a source close to Dwight Howard. "Harder than we thought."

No one said it was easy but you take $30 and be miserable or take less and have a better shot at a title (at the moment).
