Could be but it's all good because if not here, where? Those in the know realize who is blowing smoke but at the end of the day the kids still have to perform. I like hearing about different kids around the area and it gives me something interesting to key in on when I get to the games.

The Simon Kenton vs the East/West Allstars game this year won't be close. SK will probably walk away with that game.

coach height and speed, it's god given.

You are right. Height size is god given and at the nextblevel that's all you see. You don't see any 5'10 5'11 TE's o lineman. You can be the best strongest o lineman but height is a deal breaker.

Don't know about basketball. Avery played QB his freshman year and maybe some jv. He's a versatile kid and good ath maybe that's why he 's probably going to be the qb. If Wilson is playing AAU basketball maybe that's not sitting too well with Lickert?

 

My son is very good Friends with Matt and he is playing AAU, Baseball and working on his throwing for football. Very talented young man at 6' 6 3/4". and 230lbs. Avery is going to be fine. He came in the game against SK last year and played 1 down at QB Touchdown in the back corner. Avery is a much better QB / thrower than Durham. He is not going to be asked to run the ball like Durham. Just not going to work. CC should win district again. Something that has never happened before at CC. 3 time District champs in a row.

No one gave us chance 2 years ago. No one again last year.

Talking to Lickert he is just fine with kids playing their Spring Sports. He believes kids should be kids and play whatever sport they want as long as they are staying active.

Drew Moore was selected number 1 Sophomore QB at the Cincinnati NUC combine last month and their LB Fisk was selected to attend the top 100 NUC in Indy.

 

Well- there were only 3 Soph QB's at that camp. He's a good QB but let's tell the whole story. Best out of three.

Also, they invited @ 75 of the 90 kids who attended that camp to the top 100 in Indy. I know since my son was also invited. Again- let's not get too overboard.

Simon Kenton's Ben Walling is also getting interest from Vanderbilt, Indiana State, and has already attended the spring game at Middle Tennessee State. Along with Bowling Green Toledo and UC.

Where was the 98 yards? I've watched that game three times in the last couple weeks. It's a joke. I've never been so disgusted watching film. Those refs should not be allowed to ref another high school game. Holmes first 20 plays on offense....10 high low blocks, 2 leg whips, a blatant hold, 10 illegal moves by the QB attempting to draw NCC off sides. The blown call of the game, a missed cut block on the Holmes NT that the center wiffed on which was called an illegal cut that negated an NCC TD. Is an absolute joke.

 

If you played that game 100 times, that's the one time holmes would win.
