Forget the foreign part. Why would anyone watch someone drop off a backpack to not one single soul and then leave it unattended? I don't live in an America where people are nice enough to watch your bag for you when you leave.

 

I have actually watched people sit there bag down and walk away at Ironman. Didn't think anything of it...
