Exciting atmosphere! Dirty Birds continue to play well. Jones with another gem! I am a big fan on how he goes about his business on the bump. A very nice day in the fort with a win over the Blueboys!

Sorry, just worked on the field between games and watched. I do know that Noah Galvin murdered the ball all day long and was 5/5 in the game vs. NCC and that Frosh pitcher Robert Young earned the win vs. NCC but that about it. Sorry!

I saw something yesterday that very uncharacteristic of a CovCath team and that was the errors. I could not believe the way they were kicking it around. Just not a typical looking CovCath team imo.

 

Jones was very tough on the mound and for the most part kept CC quiet. I really love his intensity, a great competitor to say the least.

 

Wind was blowing in hard from centerfield and there were a few balls that would have left the park had it been a typical Highland Park day.

 

Either way, a great program win for JB and the Birds and we all know CovCath will be there in the end as always
