Lydia Duvall. Very good pitcher and an even better kid. I believe she wound up playing for Thomas More for a couple years.

 

I am sure she is a great kid, but I can tell you she might not like when someone gets a hit off her. Maddy's 7th grade year she got a triple off her then her next ab she got one upside the head. It was a close game so at first I thought it was an accident until another parent pointed out that she probably didn't make it to 3 balls on any batter. All well part of the game.

 

She was a very good pitcher and one of the few that really stuck out then.

Gallatin County's Danielle Nichelson, a Junior, is currently in her 6th year as the starting Varsity pitcher. She has helped Gallatin turn around a DISMAL program that regularly got shut out and run ruled to winning the 31st District in 2011 and 2012, and winnig the 8th Region All A in 2013. She definitely deserves to be included in the same conversation with the others mentioned here.

Coaches are supposed to enter them on SidStats after each game. This is where the Enquirer gets them from, however some teams don't do it. To me this is pure laziness on the part of these coaches not promoting the efforts of their players.

I forgot everyone is related in Campbell County, kidding!!

 

She would be a nice pitcher for any team in the region.

She is a member at St. Therese Parish in Southgate and her cousin was a 5 year player at NewCath so she could have been a Bred, but mom & dad didn't want to pay for tuition. It sure would have been nice to see her in blue n gold.
