Yeah that would be a scary thought. The 43 feet has changed the game for sure, Allen would have still been awesome but maybe not totally unhittable.

I think Anna Clements for HC needs to start being mentioned in this group. Not sure where she fits in but she has pitched really well against several good teams with a very shaky defense behind her. The young lady has made major improvements. I would say having Grace Herrman back to catch her has helped a lot also. Very proud of Anna!

I know most NKY folks don't consider Bracken County to be Northern Kentucky (a state map should provide all the evidence you need :lol2:), but I would include Bracken County's Emma Conley in this group.

 

I've only been to one Bracken game this year, but they've played several NKY schools thus far. Some BC folks tell me that Sims of Conner is the best they've seen this year.

Bracken County comes oh-so-close to bordering Campbell County, but dastardly Pendleton County gets in the way. :lol2:

I saw SK's pitcher earlier this year. She had very good control and movement. I believe they are still undefeated.

I agree you can also include the Lang girl from SK on this list. She is a very nice plyayer. You can also consider Clements from HC and Conley from Bracken Co. All nice players and worthy of being mentioned.
