This game was well worth the drive up to do a little scouting for the Regionals. :whistling: AWESOME BATTLE !!!! SK won 1-0 which until the 7th the game did not seem that close. SK's pitcher had Walton's hitters fooled with 14 or 15 k's. Overall there were not a lot of hits in this game and no hard hits by either team. SK scored on a sac fly in the 1st after Walton's pitcher had a throwing error on a bunt back to the mound and then a wild pitch. Walton had a rally in the 7th but SK's pitcher dug in and ended the rally. Congrats to the Pioneers on the District Championship and the trifecta sweep of Walton this season. Looking forward to seeing you down South at Regionals.

So what 20Rook is saying is that the runner intentionally ended the rally by running into the SS. This same runner is the pitcher in her 3rd game of the day in an obvious 3-3 battle against the same team that was an extra inning battle a week prior. Doesn't he coach his players/daughter to make contact with the runner in this situation? Maybe the SS did her job? When's the next game? They should sell tickets.

Where's the video? I would be interested in hearing the specifics of the incident. Inning (top/bottom)? Outs? Score? Runners on base? Who's batting? Did the SS do her job by creating contact to get interference? Was the runner called for interference?

Is Mel still keeping the stats? :idunno: I'm sure their stats are better than their record.

I saw SK's pitcher earlier this year. She had very good control and movement. I believe they are still undefeated.
