This game was well worth the drive up to do a little scouting for the Regionals. :whistling:

 

AWESOME BATTLE !!!!

 

SK won 1-0 which until the 7th the game did not seem that close.

 

SK's pitcher had Walton's hitters fooled with 14 or 15 k's.

 

Overall there were not a lot of hits in this game and no hard hits by either team. SK scored on a sac fly in the 1st after Walton's pitcher had a throwing error on a bunt back to the mound and then a wild pitch. Walton had a rally in the 7th but SK's pitcher dug in and ended the rally.

 

Congrats to the Pioneers on the District Championship and the trifecta sweep of Walton this season.

 

Looking forward to seeing you down South at Regionals.

Great game! A real pitchers duel. Both offenses struggled but that may have been due to very good pitching. Congrats to SK and good luck to both teams in the regionals.

WOW, hard to beat a good team 3 times in the same season, Congrats to Coach Morgan and the Lady 'Neers.

Two pretty even teams but SK is just a little better. They were 3-0 by a combined 6-1 run total.

Wow great battle. I would have liked to see this one.
