I didn't see this game but it looks like Stringer is set to start in CF and Combs is at 1B when they aren't pitching.

What about Fieger?

Well played game this early in the season. BW pitcher was strong and efficient. Tired a bit toward the end, but HHS couldn't get anything to stick.

 

1st start of the year for SR Schultz and he was not as sharp as usual. That will come with repetition. Velocity seemed OK. Breaking ball was unpredictable.

 

1st inning HR from BW pitcher got them off to a good start.

 

Nice work by SO Martin in relief. Battled hard each inning. Couple of big DPs behind him helped keep things within reach.

 

HHS offense was kept off balance and couldn't score on a few occasions when they had opportunities.

Stringer has been starting in the outfield and Combs at 3B. Hamilton has been starting at 1B and he is a Sophomore. Fieger I can't recall.

Stringer in Center, Combs at third, Fieger looks as though he will pitch and play some spot outfield, Slusher will play some outfield as well.

Bobby Mullins - long time assistant coach with Meyerhoff at Beechwood. Went to St. Henry to be their head coach last season. Back at Beechwood now as head coach.
