whats his reasoning for backing out?

Hearing alot of rumors about this. Cell can you shed some light. I sure hope we can get this turned around.

 

All I know they are looking at other Coaches who applyed. I guess Zack got the low down on the situation and decided it wasn't for him.

The AD at McCreary is a nightmare to deal with. The community wants him gone and he is hanging on. Unless something happens soon there are not gonna be any players left. Tyson Williams left for Somerset and others are leaving and will not be back till he is fired. ( He is the boys basketball coach also). This is such a political place its even forced some of the good posters from McCreary off this board as they were threatened to be fired if they talked about this situation.

Whoever takes this job needs to realize the Administration is not going to do anything for Football at the present time. It will be real hard to put together a good staff, because those that know anything about Football has already been on a Staff at one time or another and know how hard it is to get what you need to do the Job. It is hard to get the Kids out to play because they are getting beat to death every Friday Night and that get's old fast. McCreary Central has had 1 winning Season in Football Since 1987. I say good Luck to whomever they hire. Hope they give him what is needed to do the Job.

Just got word they are going to re-post the Job. Wow!! Couldn't pick one out of 20 applications. Kids are missing Spring Practice. No Wt. program and no Spring Practice but the Man who takes the Job will be expected to Win. The People in charge just don't get it.

Maybe Chuck Smith will come and find out how good of a coach he is.

Well I have seen he has been linked to the Boone Co, Henderson, Ashland jobs. Might as well go try McCreary.

l know you jest. Chuck Smith is a great Coach: but I don't think he would be successful at McCreary Central because he wouldn't be given the things he needs to succeed. I just hope they hire someone who will work hard and stay for several years. maybe the negative things will change.

I am kind of. I feel like if Chuck Smith is given the things he feels he needs for success then he will bring you success. I'd love to see him go to a school like McCreary and turn them around but if he isn't going to Henderson County or Dunbar or Ashland then I doubt he'd go to McCreary and I mean that with no disrespect to McCreary Central at all.
