March 13, 201313 yr Author You need to gamble more on players card to get a better deal than that! I don't gamble much to start with. Will probably set aside $100 or so. Never been that big on it at casinos.
March 13, 201313 yr Get a player's card and throw an extra $20 in a machine each day with the card and play for a while or until it runs out or have your wife do it while you are playing something else. You shoud get something in the mail sooner or later, whether it be just a discount or something.
May 3, 201313 yr Author Got to Vegas yesterday morning. Didn't really have anything specific planned last night. My wife watches Coco Loves Ice all the time so she wanted to check out Peep Show. It was actually pretty good. We've got tickets to Love tonight, really looking forward to that.

May 3, 201313 yr Walk down to Ellis Island Casino for a good cheap breakfast in the morning. Ask for the steak and eggs special, pretty good for $5.99. If you have never been and not too into gambling go downtown to Freemont Street Experience for the light show, etc. Check out some of the street magicians down there, they are good!
May 3, 201313 yr Don't have to worry to much about the shopping. We're just trying to find a nice place on the strip that isn't too expensive. I've stayed at the Rio before and it was nice but want to be on the strip. Also stayed at IP before, cheap but it's a dump. Can't think of the name but Imperial Palace was getting an overhaul when I was out there in December and was renamed the week following.

May 3, 201313 yr Author Can't think of the name but Imperial Palace was getting an overhaul when I was out there in December and was renamed the week following. It's The Quad now. We had to detour through there because they were working in the side walk. I didn't even realize where we were. Totally different looking.
May 3, 201313 yr We're going to Freemont either tonight after Love is over or tomorrow night.Freemont is a good time and Beatles Love was fantastic! Have a good time, tip one back for me.
May 3, 201313 yr Depends on what you want to spend. :lol2: Good luck finding that in Vegas... especially on the Strip.
May 3, 201313 yr We're going to Freemont either tonight after Love is over or tomorrow night. Coolest thing ever. When I ran the Vegas Marathon back in December it is a night race. About mile 22 you run through Freemont and the street is blocked off for you. The music is jamming and the light show above is all for the Marathon. Crappy race but that was by far the coolest thing I have ever done in any of the runs I have participated in.
May 4, 201313 yr What's a good place to eat for dinner? No buffet. There was an Italian place in the Cesar Forum Shops that we always liked. Had 'outside' seating so you could watch the day or night go by in the Forum.
May 4, 201313 yr Author Sitting in Rockbar right now watching far chicks get tossed off the mechanical bull.
