Arkansas 73 Kentucky 60

This. Does nobody remember how bad Florida looked at Arkansas?

Arkansas got up by like 25 points on them.

Losing to Georgia would be a bad loss, the worst of the season for UK. They can't afford it now that they lost at Arkansas. Beat Georgia and it is 95% sure they are in the tourney. Lose to Georgia, they need to beat Florida or get to the SEC title game if they also lose to Florida.

I agree; they must win at Georgia IMO.

I agree Kentucky needs to win @UGA and one in the SECT and they're dancing.

One thing I can't even begin to understand is Lundari's thought process. Going into Saturday he had UK as one of the last 4 teams in, and UT and Alabama in his first 8 out. All three lose, on the road (with Bama's loss being the best, and UT's being the worst), and somehow UT is now IN the field, and UK has been passed by both Tennessee and Bama....Can someone explain that logic to me? The only "bubble" team with a worse loss than UT's was Ole Miss.

It is all typed in to a computer and it gives him the results. The margin between all these teams is razor thin, so minor variables can move teams up and down a line easily. The eye test and reality test lets you know that Arkansas is a top 10 team at home, but the computers do not see it that way. To me the most perplexing is Ole Miss. Losing to Mississippi State would have me putting them on the "must win out to at least the conference tournament finals" line.

What possible variable could make UT after an awful loss to Georgia jump a team that lost to a better team?

UK's win against Ole Miss was diminished, but UT lost to them TWICE.

BTW, am I the only one who thinks Lunardi is a tool? Anyone who spends that much time doing what he does is going to do at least as good as he does.

He is a tool in general, but his job and results are overrated. The dumbest statements you ever hear are after the pairings are released will say, "Lunardi got 65 of 68 teams correct." Really? Wow!!! So let's see here. Half of the teams qualify automatically via conference tournaments so half of the "guess" work is gone off the top. 30% are locks to make the tournament field already. No real "guess" work involved. About 10% are questionable, but anyone with an IQ over a water bottle that looks at a resume for more than a minute can see they too are locked-in to the tournament. So that really leaves about the final 10% of the slots that are ever up for debate and guessing. Even by the end of the conference tournament that number probably goes down to around 5-7%, or 3-4 teams.

I've never seen so many hand checks in my life, it is out of control in college basketball.

With that said, the officials are much more likely to call those fouls when you are being strong with the ball. UK guards need to take note of that.

Oh and the charge call on Polson.... possibly one of the worst I've ever seen.

The Polson call was terrible. That was worthy of a John Robic ejection.
