The three coaches flipped coins to determine who would draw envelopes first. The one that flipped different from other two chose first - that ended up being Casey Simpson of Warren East. He drew the 1 seed, making the matchups official. Bowling Green ultimately drew the #2 seed with Warren Central competing as the #3 seed.

So the tourney is:

Monday, February 18th

#4 South Warren vs. #5 Greenwood

Wednesday, February 20th

#1 Warren East vs. #4/#5 winner

Thursday, February 21st

#2 Bowling Green vs. #3 Warren Central

Saturday, February 23rd

Finals

This means that either Bowling Green or Warren Central will miss the regional tournament. The two teams have met in the last three region finals. It will be the 10th time they've met in a district elimination game, the first since 2008. Bowling Green has won 6 of the previous 9 district elimination games with Central.

Greenwood will look to return to the region tournament for the first time since 2008, when they won. Warren East will look to go back for the first time since 1997, when they also won (they also won the time before that in 1994). South Warren will have the opportunity to play their way in for the first time in school history.
