It was a clean sweep for the Breds tonight at Cincinnati North College Hill. I was not there, but was told Coach Brannen pulled the starters early in the 3rd to give them some much needed rest. Big game this Friday at Brossart.

JV won 44-31

Frosh win on a Jacob Smith "trey" at the buzzer, his 2nd in as many nights. Last night he hit the game winner vs. Beechwood.

So the NCC JV group outscored the North College Hill varsity by 8 in the 4th to get the win?

The 5 Starters went out, 5 subs came in for several minutes and did well. The starter were back in at the end off the game.

Thanks VH - that makes a little more sense.

North College Hill is not a very good team this year.

NCC must have had a little All-A hangover.

The 5 staters were pulled to make a point. They were playing auwful. 5 games in 6 days can do that.

On a side note I am already parked at Brossart so i can actually get into the gym for the game.

I agree with the 5 games in 6 days. Games of that much of importance will take a lot out of players and a bit of a emotional let down should be expected and with another important game on Friday, I think the boys should be able to get a mulligan on this one with Coach Brannen:).

Honestly, this was a perfect game to play after the weekend. A game that should be won and was, but won ugly. Winning ugly is all part of a good team and also this will help with the focus on the upcoming game on Friday. So all things being said, I wouldnt put to much worry into last nights game. A win is a win doesn't matter what the spread is.
