February 1, 201313 yr Truth be told there are 5 liberal news station and 1 conservative station. It's easy for most American to be misinformed if they only have 1 station opposed to the others. Your older generations are going to watch CBS, ABC, NBC because they grew up with their parents or grandparents watching them. Some do try to act smarter, I think Obama is one of them. How many of those 5 liberal stations do you watch?

As I'm sure Hannity does others. I like the show the Five, very good looking smart women on there and I like Bob Beckel, he gives the other view for Dems.

McPapa says , essentially, that the Doomer post is missing the fact that a)it's a gross generalization and b)it's not limited to one party. All Tell then comes in with a shot saying that McPapa's seemingly logical post is also a "fall back position" ie they'll always say that when the other side points out the lunacy of Doomer's post. Have I summed it up pretty well? Good summary! Sometimes we need that.

Ultimately, that's one of the beauties of our way of life. None of us - ref, Clyde, cammando, me - are likely to be hauled off to the Gulag anytime soon. Some of us may think so (I think I've seen one or two members on Doomsday Preppers), but it's not real likely.
